Are you looking for a part-time position where you can make a difference?
Lifeguards ensure safety of all members and program participants in the pool area.
If you are a strong swimmer, or if you really like being around the water, the YMCA can provide certification assistance.
Morning, early afternoon and evening shifts are available. Length of shift can vary- we also currently offer Saturday shifts. If you want to work as a lifeguard and are currently certified call today.
Employment at the YMCA does come with membership benefits.
Requirements:
Lifeguards:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard, Community First Aid, and CPR for Professional Rescuers with AED certifications.
Sr. Lifeguards:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Pool or Beach Supervisory experience required.
