KidzCare

At the Glens Falls Family YMCA, we believe that providing a safe and nurturing environment for children is just as important as promoting healthy lifestyles for adults. Kids Corner is available while you are working out or taking a class. 

While you work out or take a class, your child will be in a secure space, surrounded by a loving and conscientious child-care staff. All staff members are CPR/First Aid certified and undergo background checks to ensure the safety of your child. Parents must remain on the premises at all times, with the exception of our Drop and Shop program. Trust us to care for your little ones while you take care of yourself at the Glens Falls Family YMCA!

KidsCare Program

Our KidzCare Room is a fun and safe environment where kids can play, do arts and crafts, participate in activities and learn while you workout.  

Price is $2/hour per child and there is a 2-hour limit. Spaces are limited. To guarantee staff, reservations are STRONGLY recommended. Parents/guardians must remain on the premises or with a YMCA staff-led program throughout the duration of the child’s stay in KidzCare. 

Hours:

• Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
• Monday - Thursday 4:30 - 7:00 pm
• Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Reservations highly recommended for staffing purposes. Walk-ins subject to availability see membership desk. Hours subject to change. No Show Fee Applies.

Drop and Shop Program

At the Glens Falls Family YMCA, we understand that life can be hectic and sometimes you need a break. That's why we offer Drop and Shop, a child watch program that allows parents to drop off their children with us while they run errands, attend appointments, or simply take a break. You can rest easy knowing that your child is in good hands, with our experienced and certified child-care staff. Drop and Shop is available for up to three hours a day and can be used no more than five days a week. Take advantage of this convenient program and give yourself some much-needed time off, while your child has fun and stays safe at the Glens Falls Family YMCA.
