No More Learning Gap - Summer Literacy Program (Students Entering 1st-3rd) - Adk Center

This program runs 6 weeks for less economically advantaged students. The goal is to build better readers and prevent the loss of skills that can take place each summer and develop positive self-esteem in a safe, interactive learning environment. The academic portion is taught by a certified teacher and two aides. The camp experience engages the children in physical, social, and educational activities while teaching the children our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.  

Parenting Classes - Ages 15 and Up (Adk Center)

Create a more satisfying and productive relationship with your children through STEP. STEP is Systematic Training for Effective Parenting. Attend our Parenting Classes and learn how to:
- Understand your child's behavior
- Listen and talk to your child
- Discipline that makes sense... and more!

ADK Kids – ages infant-PreK with adult (Adk Center)

This parent child program meets every Wednesday from 10:00-11:30am. Opportunity for open play, musical activities, reading of books and socialization. This program follows the NWCS school calendar. FREE, drop in basis.

Summer Teen Night – Grades 6th-11th (Adk Center)

Teens have a night out! There will be a variety of activities throughout the night. During the Summer, Teen Nights will be held on Friday, July 19th and Friday, August 16th from 7-9:30pm. There will be a special visit from Chilly Willy's Ice Cream Truck on both of these nights, so make sure that you send your teen with extra money.

Leaders Club - Grades 8th-12th grade (Adk Center)

Leaders Club teaches leadership skills through community service, volunteerism and personal growth. Become a leader at the YMCA & in your community. Leaders Club is offered at the YMCA Adirondack Center.
