Birthday Parties

A birthday party at the Glens Falls YMCA is a great way for your child to celebrate their special day and create lasting memories with family and friends. A party at the Y means no stress and no mess. You choose from a wide range of activities and we handle the details.

All parties Include:

• Use of the party room for 2 hours (first hour is for main party activity)
• Access to the room 1/2 hour prior to the start of the party for set-up
• Staff basic set-up of tables and chairs and clean-up
• Parties are Saturday and/or Sunday (Gymnastics and Pool are Sunday only)

Bounce House Package

• Single Bounce House Party for Ages 5-12 for up to 20 kids:
  • $280 (family membership)
  • $290 (members)
  • $330 (non-members)
• Double Bounce House Party (choose between obstacle or general bounce houses)
  • $320 (family membership)
  • $330 (members)
  • $370 (non-members)

Sports Package

• 1 hour use of 1/2 of the basketball gymnasium
• staff led group games
• Optional sport specific games (football, soccer, basketball or hockey)
• All ages:
  • $240 (family membership)
  • $250 (members)
  • $290 (non-members)

Pool Package

• 1 hour use of 2 lanes of the pool
• on-duty life guards
• Adults must accompany children under 6 into the pool
• All ages:
  • $290 (family membership)
  • $300 (members)
  • $340 (non-members)

General Party Information

Parties must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance to ensure space and staffing. We provide basic set-up of tables and chairs and clean-up. Hosts can bring in their own food, beverages, decorations, and table service if desired. There is limited refrigeration space provided for parties. 50% deposit due at time of booking, remainder to be paid 1 week prior to party. 

Swim Safety Rules

• Children under age 6 MUST have an adult (16+) in the pool
• Children age 6 and up may swim without an adult IF they wear a lifejacket (coast guard approved or provided) or pass a swim test. Children may swim in the shallow end without a lifejacket IF there are adults in the pool at a ratio of 1 adult to 3 children.
• Children under the age of 16 MUST pass a swim test to swim in the deep end
