The Y’s afterschool program strives to help every child succeed academically, live healthier lives and maintain positive behaviors.

HEALTHY HABITS are INSTILLED with 30 minutes of physical activity and healthy snacks daily.           

EXPLORATION of the arts & humanities for a healthy mind.HEALTHY SPIRIT will be promoted by engaging in guided socialization with Y Role Models.

 All staff is screened and trained through the following process:
• Interviewed by professional YMCA staff
• Three professional and one personal reference checks completed
• Background check & Fingerprinting check completed (YMCA & State of NY)
• CPR/First Aid training completed and up to date
• Physical exam and TB tests completed and cleared
• Minimum of 15 hours of training within the first six months, and 30 hours in the first two years


Registration takes place at the YMCA Member Service Desk. Program Information and registration paperwork is available at the Member Service Desk or at All children must have a completed registration form and immunization record on file at their school in order to register.


Tuition payments are due in full on or before the 1st of the previous month. Please pay in full in accordance with the payment schedule (available upon registration) to avoid late fees.

Upon registration, participants will be asked to pay the $15 registration fee (waived if participant signs up for auto-draft) and the 1st month IN FULL. (Pricing listed below.)
After the initial payment, fees will be collected one week before the 1st of the month of service.
Payments received between the listed due date and the 1st day of the month of service will incur a $15 late fee.
Full payment (including any late fees) must be received by the 1st of the month of service.
Non-payment will result in the participant becoming ineligible for services that month.
