PRESCHOOL

The YMCA Preschool 2008 - 2009 year will begin in September and run through mid-June.

2-Day AM Program for three year olds
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00am-11:30am
Children must be three by December 1st, 2008
This program is a great introduction to a safe and caring environment where children begin to share and cooperate. It stresses the development of self esteem, independence and learning. Children will be introduced to arts and crafts, swim lessons, snack and play. Children must be toilet trained.

3-Day AM Program for four year olds
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 9:00am-11:30am
Children must be four by December 1st, 2008
The four year old program provides more opportunities for learning through different activities in large and small motor development, swimming, arts, simple math and literature. This program is an introduction to the skills needed for Kindergarten. Children must be toilet trained.

5-Day Program for four & five year olds -

Monday-Friday, 12:30-3:30
Children must be four by December 1st, 2008
The Pre-Kindergarten class is for four and five year olds. This is a more academically enriched program which combines Preschool and Kindergarten readiness skills. This is a great option for children who are ready for more structure in a program. Children must be toilet trained.
