FULL-TIME
Adult Wellness Coordinator - coordinates operation of Adult Group Exercise and Wellness programming: arranges scheduling, training and initial recruitment of staff, organizes implementation and delivery of Adult Wellness programs and activities.
Qualifications: Experience working in health and fitness field a must. Supervisory experience required; Program Development experience beneficial. Must be certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED, and have the ability to instruct Group Exercise classes. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to articulate and model YMCA’s four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are essential.
PART-TIME
Experienced Aerobics/Group Exercise Instructors: Must be able to teach a variety of classes. Positive personality required. Various classes/times available.
After School Program Site Director: Big Cross - AS degree in Early Childhood, Recreation, or related field OR High School diploma (or its equivalent) and 2 yrs. direct experience with children under 13. Responsible for overall management of a site including staff, children and families. Must be at least 18 years of age. Friendly personality, ability to provide leadership for other staff as well as for participants, stability, and flexibility required.
After School Program Recreation Leader: Abe Wing, Hudson Falls, Lake George, Queensbury K-3, The Zone Program at Glens Falls Middle School and Warrensburg - Must be at least 16 years of age. Responsible for assisting the Site Director in general supervision and management of a site. Experience working with children under 13, warm and friendly personality required.
Aquatic Fitness Instructors: Aqualattes, Yoga, Aqua Jogging, Aqua Aerobics - training certifications preferred
Competitive All-Star Dance Coach: Experience teaching intermediate/advanced hip hop. Ability to teach and demonstrate solid dance technique. Experience choreographing large group dances required. Desire to mentor youth in life skills a must.
Custodians: Saturday & Sunday mornings and evenings (seasonal - November to May)
Fitness Center Assistants: Will train. Motivating outgoing individual responsible for participating in all daily operations of our Fitness Center. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work unsupervised. Reliable transportation a must.
Gymnastics Coach: Experience coaching levels 6 and higher preferred, desire to mentor youth in life skills a must.
Indoor Cycling Instructor: Experienced Cycling Instructors with a positive personality and the desire to motivate others needed. Various class times available.
Lifeguards: certified by Red Cross or YMCA, all hours available

Swim Instructors: Teach various swim levels & age groups from preschoolers to adults using the national YMCA Swim Lesson curriculum & program guidelines. Experience necessary, all hours available. Youth Fitness Room Assistant: Must enjoy working with children and be able to organize and instruct youth ages 8-14 on various exercise equipment and interactive Sports Wall.
Member Service Representatives: scan members in at the front desk, process member and program registrations, and provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. Friendly personality, good communication and computer skills required.
